SPE Digital Engineer

: Overview: As a Sr Principal Digital RTL Design Engineer, the full-time position candidate will be responsible for specifying, architecting, and implementing mission critical RTL components. The individual will work closely with specification developers, digital & analog designers, and physical design teams to realize efficient and highest performance designs. The position is for DDR5 and DDR6 enterprise-class memory interface products to grow the Memory Interface Chip Business Unit. Responsibilities:

• Developing system Verilog RTL IP, logic, and state machines for next generation products
• Performing full chip integration and chip level simulations
• Estimating and tracking power, performance, area (PPA) tradeoffs for RTL designs
• Reviewing and improving Static Timing Analysis (STA) results
• Maintaining architecture documentation for IP
• Creating Verilog models of components
• Guiding verification team for code coverage
• Supporting validation during chip power-on and debug

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 10+ years of professional experience
• Strong background in Digital RTL design including industry standard LEC, CDC, Lint, DFT, BIST, STA tools
• Familiarity with industry standard interface protocol such as I3C, I2C, SMBus
• Familiarity with DDR5 DRAM, DIMM topology and overall, DIMM operation
• Ability to document design techniques, test, and verification methodology.
• Python/perl script development
• Interface with debug, test, product, and reliability engineers for product qualification
• Interface with application engineers for customer support

The US salary range for this full-time position is $140,400 to $260,800. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
