Job Description:

• We are seeking a seasoned Lead Systems Programmer (PowerShell scripts & SQL/ DB2 Developer) to execute strategic initiatives and provide expert-level support for our globally distributed Windows infrastructure.
• This role is pivotal in driving infrastructure compliance, optimizing infrastructure support, and enhancing operational processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities/Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong experience with SQL and DB2 database environments.
• Deep understanding of Windows Server architecture and administration.
• Exposure to .NET technologies (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server environments with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of administrative tasks and system monitoring.
• Manage and optimize SQL and DB2 database environments, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure solutions align with business needs.
• Participate in system design reviews, testing workshops, and technical planning sessions.
• Lead efforts in identifying and resolving infrastructure defects and performance issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and process optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Mandatory Skills:

• 6+ Years of proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• 5+ Years of strong experience with SQL and DB2 database environments.
• 4+Years of Deep understanding of Windows Server architecture and administration.
• 3+ Years of exposure to .NET technologies (preferred but not required).
