National Accounts Representative
Main Function:
The Leasing Representative, National Accounts will play a critical role in driving out parcel development and leasing activity across Brixmor’s national portfolio. This position is heavily focused on cultivating relationships with national and regional tenants, particularly those seeking out parcel opportunities, and executing deals that often involve complex development components.
The role requires significant collaboration with internal teams including Leasing, Redevelopment, Construction, and Financial Asset Management , and will frequently support the preparation of materials for Real Estate Committee and Investment Committee presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead leasing efforts for assigned national and regional tenant accounts, with a strong emphasis on out parcel development and strategic site selection.
- Negotiate and manage Letters of Intent (LOIs) and Lease templates with national tenants, ensuring alignment with development timelines and tenant requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate deal execution and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with Leasing, Redevelopment, Construction, and Financial Asset Management teams to evaluate site feasibility, coordinate timelines, and align leasing strategy with capital planning.
- Assist in the preparation of deal packages and presentations for Real Estate Committee and Investment Committee, including input for financial analysis and development scope.
- Track and analyze emerging trends across retail and restaurant sectors and a particular focus on all tenants seeking high-visibility out parcel locations, to inform leasing strategy and development opportunities.
- Maintain departmental databases and reports related to available spaces, deal pipeline, and trade show schedules.
- Create and update client presentations and marketing materials as needed.
- Attend select portfolio reviews, industry trade shows, and internal leasing meetings and development meetings.
- Follow up on leasing leads and support broader national accounts initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably in retail real estate, leasing, or development.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong understanding of retail real estate and development processes, especially related to out parcel opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat; experience with Salesforce, Placer.ai, and Power BI is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and grammatical accuracy in documentation.
- Professional and responsive in handling calls and inquiries.
- Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
