Location: Conyers & Stockbridge, GA (Full-Time, On-Site)
Compensation: $65,000–$74,000 + mileage reimbursement + strong benefits package

Position Overview
Our client, a respected multi-site oncology practice, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW – Georgia required) to join their Psychosocial Support Services team. This full-time, on-site role provides essential emotional, psychosocial, and resource-based support to adult oncology patients across two outpatient clinics: Conyers and Stockbridge . Candidates must hold an active Georgia LCSW—no exceptions.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Psychosocial Support

• Conduct psychosocial assessments, safety/risk screenings, and distress evaluations.
• Provide crisis intervention, including supporting involuntary placements when needed.
• Deliver short-term counseling (4–6 sessions) and ongoing patient navigation.
• Coordinate resources for transportation, insurance barriers, financial concerns, and community support.
• Educate patients, families, and clinical staff on psychosocial and cultural factors impacting oncology care.

• Partner with physicians, nurses, behavioral health professionals, and support staff to ensure integrated care.
• Participate in developing patient-centered education and supportive programming.
• Serve as a resource for community referrals and evidence-based social work practices.

• Complete psychosocial documentation in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Train/shadow social work interns as needed.
• Facilitate or support psycho-educational groups and patient support activities.
• Participate in 3 weeks of structured training, including peer mentorship.

• Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch).
• 3 days/week at one clinic and 2 days/week at the other (set schedule, not same-day travel).
• Eligible for one remote admin day per week after approval and completion of training.
• Mileage reimbursement at the current rate for travel between offices.
• Company laptop provided + choice of company phone or monthly cell-phone stipend.

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited institution.
• Active Georgia LCSW (required — cannot consider LMSW or out-of-state licensure).
• 3–5 years post-master’s experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a medical setting; oncology experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with DSM-V, trauma-informed interventions, crisis work, and case management best practices.

• Choice of 4 medical plans , 2 dental plans , 1 vision plan .

• Outpatient oncology clinic environment.
• Responsibilities involve sitting, standing, walking, and local travel between offices.
