Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to rehab inpatients, including initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and development/implementation of individualized care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor for adverse effects and intervene as needed.
- Collaborate with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and the broader interdisciplinary team to support rehabilitation goals; document patient progress in the electronic medical record.
- Perform accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient responses; monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Support patient safety and comfort through fall precautions, infection prevention, wound care, and patient/family education on rehabilitation plans and expected outcomes.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience within rehabilitation or acute care settings; experience with surgical cases is a plus.
- Active certifications: AHA BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and thrive in a hospital-based rehabilitation environment.
- Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and collaboration skills to support multidisciplinary care.
