Position Overview
DLA Piper is seeking a polished and professional Legal Receptionist / Office Services Associate to support daily front desk and administrative operations in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills who thrive in a corporate or legal office setting.

This position is currently temporary to cover an employee leave, with potential opportunity for permanent conversion based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist clients, guests, and employees professionally
Answer and route incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette
Respond to emails and maintain professional communication standards
Schedule and manage conference room reservations
Coordinate meeting setups including beverages, catering, and supplies
Monitor visitor check-in procedures and office security protocols
Provide administrative support including invoices, filing, calendars, and data entry
Assist attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff with daily office support tasks
Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the lobby and reception areas
Organize office supplies and hospitality items
Support special projects and additional office duties as assigned

Qualifications Required
High school diploma
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service and multitasking abilities
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, especially Word and Excel
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred
3+ years of receptionist, administrative, or switchboard experience
Previous legal or law firm experience strongly preferred
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
