Afternoon Babysitter for School Pick-up
A family in the Summerhill/Peoplestown area of Atlanta, GA is seeking a reliable part-time babysitter to assist with after-school transportation for their 9-year-old son. The job involves picking up the child from Woodward Academy Lower School and driving him to Kumon on Piedmont Rd twice a week, then bringing him back home. The schedule is every Tuesday and every other Thursday from approximately 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, following the Woodward Academy 2026–2027 calendar. The ideal candidate is someone who is 21 years or older, has a reliable insured vehicle with air conditioning, and possesses a clean driving record. A background check and motor vehicle report check are required. The child is bright, curious, well-mannered, and easy to be around. Key duties include prompt school pickup, safe transportation, checking in at Kumon, waiting onsite, taking him home, and sending the parents a quick text at each stop. The position pays $20 per hour plus a gas stipend and is perfect for a Georgia State University student or local parent looking for consistent afternoon hours. No pets are present in the home, and no additional responsibilities such as feeding or bedtime routines are required.
