Immediate Openings – Thaw Room Associates (Night Shift)

Pay Rate: $14.50/hour
Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Mandatory Overtime Required (some Thursday work may be required)
Transfer fish racks from freezer to thawing by placing fish bags in rack. All racks should be identified. Records of thawing should be maintained. All reports production should be completed by end of shift. Maintain a clean work area. Comply with Company policies and safety procedures.
SPECIFIC TASKS:
1. Receives packing schedule from supervisor. 2. Rack all loins per pallet number and species. 3. Place all information by species on loin rack from pallet tags. 4. Roll loins into thawing area according to fish type. 5. Record all thawing racks according to thawing temperatures. 6. Remove all racks into chill room once thawing is complete. 7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 8. Comply with Company policies and safety requirements. 9. Return company issued Thawing gloves at the end of the shift.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent 2. Minimum 1 year Manufacturing experience 3. Able to write legibly 4. Able to read, write and speak English 5. Able to push/pull heavy racks up to 750 lbs 6. Able to work in wet environment 7. Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends
