Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. This role involves working in a busy environment caring for a range of surgical and medical patients within a Level 1 Trauma Hospital.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU
- Manage cardiothoracic/vascular surgical patients, providing pre-operative and post-operative care
- Handle patients with acute or chronic diseases and common med-surg co-morbidities
- Utilize strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills
- Perform trach care, chest tube management, and IV insertions
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and manage discharge planning
- Monitor cardiac patients and interpret telemetry data
Requirements of the RN - PCU
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- BLS, BCR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- National certification in Medical-Surgical preferred
- Strong skills in IV insertion, wound care, and patient education
