Accounts Payable Specialist

D&A Distribution, LLC d/b/a Strictly E-Cig is one of the largest vape distributors on the East Coast. We specialize in premium products and pride ourselves on operational excellence, compliance, and exceptional service. As we continue to expand, our company is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist in order to accelerate our growth in the industry. Excellent data entry skills, attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills are important qualifications for this position. Knowledge of the Vape and alternative products industry is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• General assistance with accounting responsibilities
• Contact vendors about payment or invoice discrepancies
• Reconcile payments to invoices in SAP
• Assist receiving to ensure the correct shipments are received against the corresponding order
• Reconcile accounts for customers & vendors
• Preparing and submitting reports including unreceived products and vendor liabilities reports
• Willingness to make quick and thoughtful decisions on behalf of the business
• Keeping up-to-date knowledge on industry changes and trends
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and support
• Collaborate with purchasing and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
• Maintain compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations Monitoring regulations regarding CBD, Delta 8 and vape products

Skills: 

• Critical thinking to overcome obstacles and find solutions
• Attention to detail in your work to minimize risk for error
• Spelling and Grammar skills
• Extensive knowledge of Excel
• Time management and multi-tasking capabilities
• SAP experience and knowledge about vaping/CBD are a plus.
• Data entry and analysis

Requirements :

• 2+ years experience in accounting, accounts payable, purchasing, finance or related field
• Experience with inventory or receiving is a plus
• Must be able to pass a background check

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: Between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
• This is an in-person position.
