Dietary Aide/Cook Opportunity

The Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and cooking food dishes, delivering food to patients, and assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining a clean, sanitary workplace.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food according to menu, number of people to be served, and portion control; assure maintenance of modified diets as instructed
• Receive, inspect, and properly store all supplies entering the food service department; use accepted techniques in handling, preparation, and food service
• Demonstrate proper use and storage of equipment and maintain a clean environment, including utensils, floors, equipment, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous food service training and experience
