What You’ll Do

As a Senior Consultant, you’ll be given end-to-end responsibility for an individual module within a BCG client engagement and begin to develop specialized knowledge to help solve our clients’ problems. You’ll work on a variety of digital topics, applying generalist consulting skills to strategic digital & technology questions. You’ll collaborate with clients to understand issues, create strategies for change, win buy-in for recommendations, and transform client potential into performance. Our consultants within the Tech Advisory & Delivery Chapter work closely with all practice areas to create value and competitive advantage for our clients. You’ll help clients answer questions such as “How will AI disrupt my business model?”, “How can data and analytics enable highly personalized outreach across omnichannel experiences?”, and “How can I ship higher quality digital services faster using agile?”

• Digital transformation support and digital strategy development
• Data and digital analytics platforms
• Cloud infrastructure and technologies
• Data management capabilities
• Business IT architecture
• Software and product management (including Agile)
• Tech, Enterprise Architecture and Data governance

Experience with a wide breadth of tech/digital offerings, including but not limited to:

• Roadmaps and current-state assessments for IT organizations in large companies
• Orchestrating technical program delivery across stakeholders and ecosystems
• IT benchmarking and cost-reduction recommendations
• Future-state IT vendor landscape, vendor assessments, automation, cost-benefit analysis, eCommerce, platform valuation
• Support for IT during mergers and acquisitions, including functional/technical transformation
• Cloud strategy and migration from on-premises
• GenAI awareness and client implications; delivering practical and visionary solutions
• Optimizing business and IT processes in complex, matrixed organizations
• Delivering data and digital platforms using Agile, DevSecOps, and cloud-native architectures

Packaged software experience:

• Designing feasibility studies and recommending software/vendor systems
• Data and integration considerations related to business needs
• Managing large-scale IT projects with SDLC activities

Written communication and presentation skills:

• Lead creation of client-specific strategic materials and synthesize insights for deliverables
• Clear, accurate, and timely communications for fast-paced projects
• Synthesize diverse inputs into clear recommendations
• Support business development through proposals and scoping
• Contribute to thought leadership through publications and events

Presentation and facilitation:

• Present materials and updates to clients and internal teams
• Facilitate technical and strategic workshops
• Provide direction and feedback to team members
• Build relationships with key clients

Qualifications

You will bring:

• Bachelors or Masters in information technology, computer science, economics, supply chain, logistics, systems engineering, business management/administration, or related field
• 4+ years of IT consulting, software development, or IT project management with focus on: custom software, ecommerce, cloud platforms, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle (various products)
• Strong learning agility in IT topics such as data and digital platforms
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical and conceptual thinking; ability to work creatively and autonomously in fast-paced environments focused on customer results
• Willingness to travel globally, up to 80% at times

For U.S. Applicants

The first year base compensation for this role is $150,000 USD, plus eligible annual discretionary bonus and retirement contributions. BCG provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents at no employee premium.
