Legal Assistant- Commercial Litigation
The Atlanta office of a sizable law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to support two Partner-level attorneys in a commercial litigation practice , including class action matters . This is a fully onsite role suited for a detail-driven legal professional.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence
Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and scheduling
Enter, review, and edit attorney time entries
Proof and edit client billings in accordance with firm and client guidelines
Coordinate new business intake, travel, expenses, and meetings
Maintain and organize files
Serve as a point of contact for guests, vendors, and couriers
Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed
Strong proofreading and attention to detail are essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and client-service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5+ years of legal support experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Some overtime may be required
