• Deliver safe, evidence-based care using the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Provide patient-centered, relationship-based care tailored to population-specific needs.
• Partner with patients and families in care planning and communication.
• Adhere to current clinical practice standards.

Teamwork and Collaboration

• Ensure quality patient care through clear documentation and interdisciplinary communication.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
• Support performance improvement, shared governance, and research initiatives.

Professional Development & Leadership

• Complete all required competency assessments and ongoing education.
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor to nursing staff, students, and colleagues.
• Model professional nursing practice and contribute to a healthy work environment.

Evidence-Based Practice & Research

• Promote nursing research, evidence-based practice, and performance improvement.
• Comply with all organizational, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Collect and use clinical data to support quality outcomes.

Resources & Support

• Plan proactively for patient needs across the care continuum.
• Contribute to developing best-practice protocols and reducing adverse outcomes.
• Ensure efficient and effective use of resources.

Qualifications

Education
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program (required).
Licenses & Certifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) – Georgia or Multi-state Compact license (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred.
Experience
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience (required).
• Emergency Department experience strongly preferred.
Skills
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Critical thinking and strong clinical judgment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and use of clinical technology.
