Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Endocrinology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients in Covington. Your expertise in endocrinology will be vital in diagnosing and treating patients with various endocrine disorders, ensuring the highest level of care and patient satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse medical cases and contribute to the well-being of individuals in need of specialized medical attention.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient consultations and examinations to diagnose endocrine disorders.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with endocrine conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging studies, and biopsies.
• Prescribe medication and monitor patient response to treatment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Provide patient education on managing endocrine disorders and promoting overall health.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
• Stay current with advancements in endocrinology research and treatment modalities.

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Endocrinology.
• Valid state medical license to practice in Covington.
• Proven experience working as a Locum MD or DO in Endocrinology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 3 days per week

No call required

Patient Census: 20-25 per day
