Corporate Joint Venture Controller Transition Lead

AGCO is seeking a Corporate Joint Venture Controller Transition Lead to join an exciting new Joint Venture between AGCO and Trimble ("JV" herein). The position will be in Westminster, CO, or Duluth, GA, reporting to the VP of Finance for the JV. The Corporate JV Controller Transition Leader's primary responsibility is to ensure the accounting function of the JV is established and operational at the commencement of the JV. This includes overseeing the accounting practices, SOX controls, and general accounting policy for the JV, which includes assurance that the general ledger is in accordance with US GAAP.
The Corporate JV Controller Transition Lead will be a key member of the JV Finance team and will be the main point of contact for Corporate Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and External Audit teams. The Corporate JV Controller Transition Lead will also work closely with local functional teams, site operations, and other regions.
Your Impact
- Responsible for leading the accounting function of the JV
- Ensure accurate JV financials in accordance with US GAAP; Ensure SOX controls are designed and operating effectively
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
- Be the primary contact for the Corporate Financial Reporting, Internal and External Audit, Tax and Treasury
- Provide meaningful analysis and support for ad hoc requests, projects and other duties as requested by the VP of Finance
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of work experience
- 5+ years of management/supervisory experience
- Experience with SAP and OneStream are preferred; software and subscription revenue recognition experience a plus
- Start-Up, early business development or systems implementation experience a plus
