Robert Half HR Solutions is currently recruiting for a Sr. HR Generalist for a client in Metro Atlanta. Our client, a thriving nonprofit organization with 350+ employees across multiple states, is seeking an experienced Sr. HR Generalist to join their Human Resources team. This organization is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the communities it serves and is seeking a versatile HR professional to support its expanding operations.
As a Sr. HR Generalis t, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s HR functions, including payroll processing, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, HR policies/procedures, and HRIS maintenance. This is a hybrid role for someone with proven hands-on HR expertise and a passion for working in the nonprofit sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage accurate payroll processing across multiple states, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in ADP Workforce Now (ADPWFN) .
- Provide guidance and support to employees and management on employee relations matters, fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Administer employee benefit programs and coordinate open enrollment processes.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures, aligning them with organizational culture and compliance standards.
- Maintain and optimize the organization’s HRIS systems , ensuring data integrity and supporting reporting needs.
- Collaborate on HR projects related to employee engagement, performance management, and organizational growth strategies.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years of HR Generalist experience . Experience in the nonprofit sector is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with multi-state employee management and relevant labor laws.
- HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments and locations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail.
