Director of Marketing
Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise marketing team including Marketing Manager, Revenue Operations Manager, and Associates.
- Maintain a marketing strategy to guide the firm’s marketing function, setting direction on branding and messaging, and ensuring consistent representation of the SRS brand within the marketplace.
- Oversee the development of marketing collaterals in support of business development activities including brochures, booths, advertising, promotional materials, and videos.
- Maintain the promotion of the firm through its website, social media, and other digital marketing channels.
- Oversee the use of HubSpot as the firm’s CRM, ensuring maintenance of complete and accurate data on client and partner relationships and new business performance. Produce and present regular new business reports for review by business unit leaders and senior management.
- Manage the firm’s process for responding to RFPs and providing proposal and presentation materials across the firm. Ensure that proposals are accurate with up-to-date information and presented to reflect the quality of SRS’s services and its standing within the captive insurance industry.
- Maintain a business development strategy to manage our partner outreach program, managing assignment of relationships, monitoring new business budgets for business units, and tracking business development performance by partner.
- Arrange partner meetings and events for senior management of the business units.
- Ensure SRS is positively and actively represented in trade publications, associations, and conferences in its target markets. Oversee SRS client and partner event planning. Manage the firm’s webinar series.
- Ensure collaboration and alignment across all revenue related business units relating to marketing and new business activities management.
- A senior proven marketing leader. At least 10 years in a marketing leadership position within the insurance, financial services, or professional services industry.
- Experience overseeing corporate marketing functions in support of business development.
- Managerial experience in managing a CRM system.
- Successful record of assisting with the growth of revenue through partner channels.
- Experience in a multinational setting required. Must recognize the cultural differences in marketing outside of the United States and working with local management.
