Program Manager
Position Summary
The Real Impact for Stability and Empowerment (R.I.S.E.) Program Manager oversees up to six (6) Care Coordinators and up to four (4) therapists providing community-based supports throughout Metro Atlanta and its catchment areas to youth and families enrolled in the R.I.S.E. program. The Program Manager has full supervisory responsibility for assigned staff who assist at-risk youth and their families in meeting identified behavioral health, social, and other support needs.
The R.I.S.E. Program Manager performs administrative and leadership functions including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, evaluating staff performance, and monitoring program fidelity. This role is responsible for implementing and managing crisis and on-call response protocols, ensuring service quality, and maintaining compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational standards.
The Program Manager builds and maintains strong working relationships with referral sources, child-serving agencies, community partners, and contract holders to ensure coordination of care and approval of services. The Program Manager provides clinical and administrative supervision, supports staff skill development, conducts regular case reviews, and makes recommendations to program leadership to support continuous program and community service improvement
Role and Responsibilities
The primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide leadership and modeling for the R.I.S.E. process for up to a total of 75 families receiving community-based supports throughout Metro Atlanta and its catchment areas
- Provide direct supervision to up to six (6) Care Coordinators using a strengths-based, proactive, supportive, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach
- Provide supervision to up to four (4) therapists as it relates to cases under the supporting contract
- Maintain fidelity monitoring statistics and ensure timely submission by established deadlines
- Communicate updates to staff regarding changes to forms, processes, and regulatory requirements relevant to the R.I.S.E. program
- Collaborate with Network Support and community partners to support resource development and identify service gaps for youth and families served
- Attend meetings as scheduled, including internal, community, and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure staff are trained and competent in program materials and expectations; provide ongoing, advanced, or corrective training as needed
Review and approve documentation submitted by Care Coordinators, including but not limited to:
- Session Logs
- Intakes
- Action Plans
- Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
- Safety and Crisis Plans
- Discharge Documentation
- Address concerns related to ISPs, Action Plans, Safety and Crisis Plans, and other documentation with contract or authorization authorities
- Review, track, and assess ACE scores and collaborate with Care Coordinators to determine trauma-informed service needs based on scores and family voice and choice
- Conduct regularly scheduled group supervision (minimum two times per month) for Care Coordinators, including administrative updates, training, and sharing of success stories
- Conduct individual supervision and assess staff performance through chart reviews and documentation monitoring
- Complete chart audits monthly
- Collaboratively develop and implement problem-solving strategies that promote positive child and family outcomes and a supportive work environment
- Respond to staff-related crises via phone or face-to-face support as appropriate
- Oversee and monitor the R.I.S.E. program census for accuracy on a weekly and/or daily basis
- Participate in monthly supervisor meetings with the Program Director to discuss caseloads, staffing, barriers, and service trends
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees
- Oversee the training and orientation process for all new staff
- Conduct 90-day and annual performance evaluations and contribute to corrective action plans as needed
- Maintain working knowledge of all CHRIS 180 policies, procedures, and program standards
- Supervise staff productivity and ensure job responsibilities and productivity standards are met
- Review and approve timesheets, mileage, expense reports, and PTO requests in a timely manner
- Coach and support staff who are not meeting productivity or documentation standards
- Provide positive role modeling to consumers by:
- Promoting self-esteem
- Encouraging healthy boundaries
- Reinforcing appropriate hygiene and personal appearance
- Supporting socially appropriate behaviors and decision-making
- Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical conduct in accordance with CHRIS 180 policies and applicable laws
- Comply with mandated reporting requirements under Georgia law
Demonstrate strong customer service and professionalism by:
- Promoting a positive image of CHRIS 180 programs
- Working collaboratively as a team member
- Responding to consumer, peer, and stakeholder needs in a timely manner
- Attend required staff meetings and trainings; maintain required certifications
- Submit required documentation to Human Resources and report employment status changes per policy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Competencies
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science field
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a case manager and/or care coordinator working directly with youth and families, including youth with severe emotional and/or behavioral diagnoses
- Eligibility for DBHDD and DFCS staff band designation
- Fully licensed clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred) with a minimum of three (3) years post-licensure experience and experience providing clinical supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in child and adolescent case management
- Experience working collaboratively with community-based and child-serving agencies

Salary: 60k-72k
Schedule
This is a full-time position, typically working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with flexibility required based on program needs.
