HOSPICE NURSING ASSISTANT, HOSPICE REIMBURSED
- Preferred high school graduate or GED equivalent
- Required completion of approved Nursing Assistant Certification training program with evidence of current State of Georgia certification
- Minimum two (2) years varied work experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
- Prefer training or experience with general office skills and medical terminology
- Demonstrated understanding of and adherence to the hospice philosophy and ability to work as member of interdisciplinary team in meeting the unique needs of the terminally ill.
- Must possess strong skills in core areas of Certified Nursing Assistant Scope of Services, as defined by State of Georgia.
- Must have positive attitude with demonstrated ability to handle delicate situations and to communicate effectively
- Must possess ability to work non-judgmentally with persons of diverse cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds and lifestyles.
- Must be self motivated with strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, handle pressure, and utilize critical thinking/problem-solving techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to respond well to supervision and work independently with minimal direction and appropriate collaboration when required.
- Ability to operate clinical equipment as well as office equipment such as computers, telecommunications devices, etc.
- Must have current Georgia driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and the availability of a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job.
- Must have current CPR certification.
