Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing specialized nursing care for patients in a step-down setting requires experience, dedication, and clinical expertise. This travel opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) skilled in Step-Down care to support patient care within an emergency room environment. The role involves caring for patients being boarded in the ER, requiring critical thinking and efficient assessment skills to ensure quality outcomes.

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring step-down level attention in the ER.
- Monitor patient conditions, provide treatments, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient stability and timely transfer to appropriate units.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Georgia nursing license or Compact license required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a step-down or similar acute care environment.
- Previous completion of at least one travel nursing assignment with strong professional references from recent assignments.
Job Type: Travel nursing assignment with an ASAP start date.
References should be recent and from previous travel assignments to demonstrate readiness for this role.
