Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the operating room for a variety of surgical procedures.
- Prepare the OR: verify patient identity and procedure, set up and drape the sterile field, and assist with instrument handling.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, manage vital signs, and respond to anesthesia needs; document events accurately.
- Assist surgeons and scrub personnel, manage instrument counts, equipment, and supply management; maintain sterile technique.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control compliance; participate in handoffs to the post-anesthesia care unit and complete perioperative documentation.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity OR environment
- Willingness to travel and comply with assignment terms
