Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Type: 7 month Contract
Compensation: $70.00

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed successfully, on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Provide guidance and direction to team members.
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that projects stay within budgetary constraints.
• Define project scope and monitor changes to ensure that the project stays within its original parameters. Document and communicate scope changes as necessary.
• Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation plans. Proactively address issues and challenges as they arise.
• Create project schedules and timelines, and monitor progress to ensure that projects are completed on time. Implement advanced project management methodologies to streamline processes.
• Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing their concerns.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project closure reports.
• Address project issues and conflicts, working with team members to find solutions. Escalate issues to senior management when necessary.
• Ensure that all project objectives are met, and that projects are closed effectively, including obtaining sign-off from stakeholders and conducting post-project evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as project management, business, or a technical discipline.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Advanced understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile or Scrum.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
