We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to support our grading and landscaping operations. The ideal candidates will be proficient in multiple machines and ready to drive efficient, safe, and precise earthwork.
Equipment & Responsibilities
We prefer candidates with hands‐on experience operating all three of these machines:
Bulldozer Operator : Push, level, and clear soil, debris, and material across varied terrain
Track Loader Operator : Maneuver track loaders to load, carry, and move dirt, gravel, debris — especially valuable in tighter spaces
Excavator Operator : Use excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and handle heavy lifting or light demolition
Other core duties include:
Performing routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency
Collaborating with crews to support grading, drainage prep, trenching, retaining walls, and other landscaping work
Adhering to OSHA and company safety standards in all field operations
Qualifications
2–4 years (or more) of verified experience operating bulldozers, track loaders, and excavators
Demonstrated ability to handle diverse terrains and project types
Mechanical aptitude with experience in daily equipment checks and basic upkeep
Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to follow and enforce safety protocols Kaplan Community Career Center+1
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
