Lifeway Mobility is a leading nationwide provider of home accessibility solutions – ramps, grab bars, stairlifts, railings, bathroom safety solutions, and home elevators. Our products prevent falls, and help mobility compromised individuals remain safely in their homes or return home safely after a healthcare event or injury.

To support our continued growth, we are hiring an experienced Regional Business Development Professional for the South Atlantic region, to generate leads for DME (durable medical equipment) of home accessibility solutions in Baltimore, MD | Raleigh, NC | Charlotte, NC | Columbia, SC | Atlanta, GA .

Position Overview

The Regional Leader of Business Development is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals to generate referrals that lead to sales from private pay, and 3rd party payors including Veteran's Administration and Workman's Comp. This role involves educating and presenting to referral sources including hosting in-service training(s), managing and executing a territory call plan, and developing and implementing strategies to penetrate and reinforce referrals, and improve regional brand awareness.


Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources including Skilled Nursing/Rehab Facilities, Acute Care Hospitals, LTACs, Home Healthcare Agencies, Senior Services, and Physicians' Offices.

Working collaboratively with the Branches in each market:

  • Develop and execute referral strategies to increase lead generation and conversion.
    • Identify key referral sources and maintain ongoing engagement to strengthen partnerships.
    • Schedule and conduct 6-12 in-service presentations monthly to educate healthcare professionals about home accessibility solutions.
    • Organize and participate in trade shows, networking events, and educational luncheons to expand industry awareness.
    • Track referral activity and sales performance to analyze and optimize strategies.
    • Maintain accurate records in the company CRM (Via Novo) and provide regular updates on referral trends.
    • Collaborate with, develop and present reports on individual branch location marketing plans, in-service activities, and referral performance towards sales conversions.


    Qualifications
    • 3-5 years of experience in Regional Business Development, referral marketing, and/or related Regional healthcare/DME sales.
    • Knowledge of healthcare products and industry including home safety, fall prevention solutions, aging in place, and ADLs.
    • Established healthcare industry connections within the South Atlantic region, strongly preferred.
    • Proven ability to identify, develop and maintain professional referral relationships, remotely across a regional territory.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, and collaboratively.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strategic and results-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally up to 8 nights/month.
