The Opportunity:
The Collateral Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s financial performance by strategically managing a portfolio of receivables and driving effective collections outcomes. This position requires strong analytical capability, sound judgment, and the ability to cultivate productive relationships with debtors, clients, and internal stakeholders. Operating in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment, the analyst proactively identifies risks, resolves complex issues, and ensures the accuracy and integrity of portfolio data. Through disciplined portfolio oversight and collaborative problem‑solving, the Collateral Analyst supports operational excellence, mitigates financial exposure, and contributes to the long‑term stability and profitability of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain full ownership of assigned collections portfolio.  

• Build and sustain productive relationships with debtors to ensure timely and consistent payment of receivables.  

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and payment-related issues with accuracy and urgency.  

• Address matters related to billing, payments, legal claims, and documentation requirements.  

• Evaluate financial exposure within the portfolio and implement strategies to mitigate risk.

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to both clients and debtors.  

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by departmental or division leadership.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Shows proficiency in basic mathematics and foundational accounting principles.
• Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Highly accountable, organized, and goal-oriented, with a consistent track record of meeting performance expectations.
• Post-secondary education preferred.
