Job Details:

• 36 or 48 hour guaranteed shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 on a 36-room telemetry unit
• Work every other weekend with floating required
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days requested time off
• Holiday work required based on assignment period
• 12 hours of orientation
• Navy blue scrub color required
• 2 years minimum experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIH preferred)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must manage cardiac diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, post-cardiac procedures, IV insulin protocols, wound care, tracheostomy management, and blood product administration
• Must complete compliance documents by Tuesday prior to start date
• Georgia or compact license required at time of submittal
