We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist PRN like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Radiologic Technologist prepares for and assists the physician in the completion of intricate radiologic examinations. They prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with state, federal, and hospital regulations. **What you will do in this role:** + Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in this department. + Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs. + Assess patients' and families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching. + Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients. + Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and procedures for the radiological department. **What qualifications you will need:** + Graduation from an accredited education program in Radiologic Technology. + ARRT R.T. (R)(denotes successful completion of the ARRT certification examination) or registry eligible. + Must be registry eligible and obtain ARRT within 6 months of the hire date; if not obtained, termination will occur. + One year of post-graduate experience is strongly preferred. + American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
