Technical Writer

IDR is seeking a Technical Writer to join one of our top clients in Lawrenceville, GA . This role involves crafting comprehensive technical documentation to support the development and use of our client's computing systems. Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Technical Writer:

• Collaborate with end users to define business procedures and create technical documentation for hardware and software.
• Plan, design, research, write, and edit a variety of documents, including user guides, manuals, technical specifications, and training materials.
• Establish and maintain documentation standards to ensure accuracy and consistency across all materials.
• Engage with multiple teams to understand specific products and provide necessary training

Required Skills for the Technical Writer:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in technical writing, with a preference for 4 years.
• Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proficiency in documenting IT software and systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with end users and cross-functional teams.
