School Cook/Administrative Aide
Jubilee Christian Preparatory Academy is a growing private Christian school that welcomes students from toddlers up to 5th grade. We are seeking a collaborative school cook who can also take on the role of administrative assistant, who will further help to foster our school's team spirit and family-like environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, accommodating, and possess excellent customer relationship skills necessary for working with children and their families. A sunshine and smiling face!
Candidate job descriptions include but not limited to the following:- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh.
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
- Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, poultry, and other foods.
- Occasionally serve food.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Handle and store ingredients and food.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
- Execute opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor station inventory levels.
- Accommodate parents’ special requests.
- Proficient in computer use, email communication, phone answering, and clerical tasks in a school setting.
