Cemetery Maintenance Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in openings and closings for burials, entombments, inurnments, and disinterments.
- Install and assemble foundations, memorials, and markers.
- Install outer burial containers.
- Handle and complete work orders from client families related to individual grave and marker maintenance; respond to service requests.
- Conduct Interment Verification Procedures and prepare a 25-foot radius around graves—ensuring the area is clean and neat.
- Fill graves, tamp soil, seed or lay sod as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and Universal Precautions.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Complete required training—particularly Dignity University courses and uphold the Dignity Memorial Promise.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills:
