Medical Front Office Manager

The Medical Front Office Manager serves as the primary contact of the practice, ensuring every patient’s journey begins with a professional and welcoming experience. This role is a blend of high-level hospitality, medical billing administration, and operational logistics. You will be responsible for the "administrative readiness" of our patients, ensuring that financial responsibilities are clear and that the office runs like a well-oiled machine. Hours: Monday through Friday. Hours will vary between 6:30am-7:00am start time to 4:00pm. This position will be an on site role located primarly in Sandy Springs, GA.

salary: $50,000 - $59,999.99 per year

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with professionalism, acting as the face of the practice.
  • Manage the patient check-in process and monitor office flow to minimize wait times.
  • Direct incoming calls efficiently, providing direct answers or routing to the appropriate department.
  • Read and interpret complex insurance verifications and alerts to ensure accurate billing.
  • Collect payments for services rendered and balance credit card machines daily.
  • Identify and clearly explain outstanding balances and payment responsibilities to patients.
  • Analyze patient charts to apply insurance discounts or adjustments, and accurately separate charges between entities.
  • Proactively notify the finance team regarding any changes in patient insurance coverage.
  • Maintain and audit critical reports on a daily and weekly basis
  • Ensure all billing and patient data aligns with practice standards and financial regulations.
  • Count, order, and distribute supplies; maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent shortages.
