Front Desk Professional- Statesboro
Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and families, setting the tone for a positive dental experience. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced pediatric dental environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience
Greet patients and families warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
Provide clear instructions regarding paperwork, insurance, and office policies.
Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when handling patient information.
Verify and update patient records accurately in the dental software system.
Collect payments, process billing, and provide receipts as needed.
Assist with insurance verification and claims submission.
Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
Support clinical staff with daily office operations as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a dental or medical office is highly desirable, pediatric experience a plus.
Strong computer skills and experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
Compassionate and caring toward children and families.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Typical hours: Monday – Friday
Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
