Job Summary
The Master Production Scheduler role is focused on managing schedules and coordinating efficient production schedules to satisfy customer demand. Analyzing and revising production plans and providing appropriate delivery dates as required. Working with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Analyzing and reporting actual customer requirements, trends, and forecasts, and adjusting capacity plans accordingly. This role is critical and strategic, responsible for the creation, maintenance, and optimization to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and guarantee on time delivery of high-quality carbon components to our automotive customer.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Translates projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with time phased build schedule.
- Work with customer-based departments to determine daily and weekly inbound forecasts and develop consumption models to improve accuracy.
- Establish key performance indicators for production schedules and internal delivery.
- Schedule demand based on the product mix and provides accurate commitment dates for multiple product lines.
- Assemble master schedule based on performance, shipment, and inventory plans.
- Manage load leveling scheduling utilizing theory of constraints for more accurate scheduling.
- Analyze production tooling and press capacity.
- Analyze production floor status through input and output reporting.
- Recommend data maintenance of staffing and cycle time in the CMS – ERP System.
- Adjust press assignments in the CMS System - ERP System.
- Prepare bank build plans and evaluate downtime periods for possible short-term staffing adjustments.
- Assist with physical inventories.
- Maintain IATF 16949 Procedures.
Minimum Requirements
· Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, ability to synthesize considerable amount of complex data.
· Experience in ERP software systems.
· 3-5years of progressive experience in production scheduling and production planning position with extensive demonstrated success of implementing and operationalizing master schedules.
· Accredited four-year degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering or other related fields preferred.
· Change Agent – skill with enabling change, strong influencing abilities particularly department leads and frontline teams.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
· Ability to lead and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, modeling and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
