Interventional Radiology Tech needed for a travel assignment in the radiology department of a hospital in Atlanta, GA. Start date 05/18/2026 for 8 weeks. Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for angiography and neuro/stroke interventional procedures; monitor patient status and comfort
- Operate interventional radiology equipment (angiography suite/fluoroscopy) and ensure image quality and radiation safety
- Assist radiologists with arterial access, catheter placements, and device deployments during neuro/stroke interventions
- Administer contrast agents per protocol; monitor for adverse reactions; document contrast use and patient response
- Maintain sterile technique, room readiness, equipment function, and accurate imaging data documentation
- Participate in on-call coverage as assigned, with a 20-minute response time

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology with neuro/stroke procedures
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology department and support IR/neuro procedures
- On-call availability weekends and holidays with a 20-minute response time
- Active licensure/credentialing as required by state law, or eligibility per jurisdiction
- Willingness to complete onboarding processes including demographic data collection and badge photo upload
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists
