What You Will Be Doing

• Analyzing and summarizing legal documents
• Researching, both legal and of people, businesses, and worksites
• Evaluating cases and strategically developing defenses
• Conducting client meetings and recommending strategies
• Investigating facts, planning, preparing and conducting depositions
• Preparing and arguing motions
• Conducting hearings and mediations
• Preparing witnesses and corporate representatives
• Briefing at trial and appellate courts
• Thinking analytically
• Writing defense mediation summaries

What You Need to Bring

• Actively licensed and in good standing with the State of Georgia
• Critical thinking and research skills
• Strong writing, analytical, and communications skills with superior attention to detail
• 1-5 years’ experience in defense litigation; solid insurance defense experience with professional liability and/or coverage litigation experience a plus
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines
• Must be a self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities and understand the importance of deadlines
• Client-focused mentality
• Take initiative and welcome challenges
• Ability to work flexibly and independently within a strong team
• Ability to review and interpret financial records is a plus

What You Will Receive

• Salary range of $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 based on experience including quarterly bonus potential, year-end bonuses and referral incentives
• Hybrid in Atlanta work arrangement
