Your main responsibilities
The New Installations (NI) Sales Representative’s role is to identify opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information to locate sources for sale of company products and services. The core duties and responsibilities of the NI Sales Representative will include learning how to perform preliminary design work with architects and general contractors; developing budgets and schedules; reading and understanding job plans & specifications; preparing estimates, bid proposals and making presentations to win the sale.

• Meet and/or exceed assigned sales and customer objectives
• Analyze customer needs and secure desirable business through application of company products and services
• Maintain favorable client relationships
• Assess and follow customer complaints to satisfactory resolution
• Communicate to both customer and internal operations the necessary information to assure customer satisfaction and achieve sales cost objective
• Develop negotiating strategies with minimum monitoring by management
Plan, develop and implement sales strategies on specific negotiations that are consistent with internal product strategy while, at the same time, fully reflective of customer requirements and competitive offerings.
What you bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting or Engineering and 5+ years of sales experience is required. In lieu of degree, high school diploma and 6+ years of technical experience in the elevator industry or sales experience required.
• Elevator industry or business to business sales experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software, Lotus Notes and SAP is preferred.
