Sample Coordinator

We, at Elite Comfort Solutions LLC, are seeking a highly communicative and hands on Sample Coordinator to support our sales and quality team in Newnan, GA. In this role, you will oversee the building of samples, track and log testing results and raw materials.

So, what will you be doing as a Sample Coordinator?

• Understanding specifications of mattress and topper builds.
• Managing upkeep of daily sample log.
• Maintaining raw material inventory.
• Ordering material from other plants as needed.
• Lot tracking records.
• Notifying manager of potential failures/missed deadlines.
• Maintaining open communication between Quality-Sales-Production-Customer Service.
• Scheduling shipping pickups through Customer Service.
• Scheduling testing with third party lab.
• Recording and maintaining testing records.
• Creating a building schedule for sample builder.
• Assisting in cutting, building samples when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of Coordinator or Leadership experience preferably in a quality related field.
• Experience with MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience in ERP Systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Ability to interface with various departments to communicate challenges, concerns.
• Able to read a tape measure, interpret reports, specifications, drawings.
• Attention to detail in daily work.
• Self-starter, able to work independently.
• Exceptional follow up skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work several projects at once.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
• Outstanding Organizational skills.
• Quick learner.
• Typing, 10 Key, filing.
• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
• Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity.
• Safety - Observes all safety procedures and policies; Reports potentially unsafe conditions to supervisor; Uses equipment and materials properly.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Things we consider a plus:

• Knowledge of foam and mattress industry is a plus.
