Controller

Reports to: Senior Vice President of Operations

You are the final local authority on journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, billing enforcement, and internal controls prior to submission to Spain HQ.

What You’ll Own

• Month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close for the US & Canada
• Review and approval of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Billing, credit, and write‑off thresholds—with real enforcement
• Invoice‑at‑shipment discipline and shipment blocking when required
• High‑quality, Spain‑ready financial submissions
• Finance leadership for D365 implementation in North America
• Continuous improvement in close speed, accuracy, and repeatability
• Canadian VAT compliance coordination
• Financial oversight of payroll (executed by HR)
• Strong internal controls and segregation of duties
• Final escalation point for Finance, Billing, and AR issues

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Strong GAAP accounting and financial reporting expertise
2. Demonstrated ownership of month‑end close and reconciliations
3. Experience leading accounting and billing/AR teams
4. ERP experience (Navision and/or D365 preferred)
5. Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical judgment
