Bar Manager

We are seeking an experienced and sophisticated Bar Manager to lead and elevate the bar program at our high-end restaurant. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, deep knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails, and a proven track record of creating exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, managing bar staff, ensuring service excellence, and driving beverage sales and profitability while maintaining the integrity of our brand.

• Bar Operations Management

  • Oversee all aspects of the bar including staffing, inventory, ordering, cleanliness, and service.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

  • Maintain a welcoming and polished bar environment aligned with the restaurant’s upscale image.

• Staff Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage bar team members.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to promote professional growth.

  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performance team culture.

• Financial Management

  • Monitor beverage cost controls, budget, and profitability.

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and manage vendor relationships and ordering.

  • Analyze sales reports to optimize pricing and product selection.

• Guest Experience

  • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

  • Maintain a presence during peak hours to uphold standards of service.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a bar manager or lead bartender in an upscale or fine-dining environment.

• In-depth knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and mixology.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience with POS systems and inventory management software.
