This position can be located anywhere in the Southeast. Boiler experience required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum ten years experience in mill operations and/or field service for recovery and power boilers.
- Familiarity with Evaporators operation and mechanical inspections is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English. Other languages are a plus.
- Fluent in Word, Excel, Outlook.
Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties.
- Manage field service group activities to support equipment installation and start-up activities.
- Sales and management of service contracts.
- Outage planning assistance to customers.
- Boiler inspections.
- Boiler combustion tuning and optimization.
- Evaporator mechanical inspections.
- Pre-commissioning and start-up of rebuilds and new installations.
- Erection support.
- Communicate with internal engineering on equipment issues.
- Customer training for Andritz equipment and systems.
- Smelt pumping support.
This position requires 25% to 50% travel primarily within North America
