Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your role will involve greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Must be 18 or older.

Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide excellent customer service
- Manage reservations and ensure timely seating of guests
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or address guest inquiries
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Monitor dining areas to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with various tasks such as taking to-go orders, processing payments, or helping with food service as needed

Skills:
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing and payment handling
- Ability to build positive guest relations and provide personalized service
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality industry practices
- Willingness to assist team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Experience with POS system is a plus
- Previous food service establishment is preferred
