How you'll make an impact

This is an individual contributor role solely responsible for producing. The Area Vice President (Producer) will be accountable for driving revenue growth by identifying, building and maintaining valuable relationships with prospects, clients, colleagues and partners specific to their global benefits and mobility needs. The role whilst focused on driving growth for our Global Mobility Solutions team primarily, is also able to drive growth into the broader MBM practice. As such it requires strong inter-MBM relationships to be developed to ensure the right subject matter expert is aligned to take on the client delivery in the longer term.

This opportunity can be based in: LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, NC, SC, TN, KY

Key Producer responsibilities include:

  • A strong background in globally mobility – particularly outsourced global mobility managed services, with a holistic understanding of tax, immigration, compensation, international payroll, business travel compliance and relocation.
  • Prospecting for new clients, by networking within the global mobility community, seeking referrals from existing clients, centers of influence, global partners and partnering with Gallagher’s global broking and benefits services leadership and producers.
  • Prepares and implements a sales plan to develop and manage a pipeline of business opportunities that reflect an appropriate mix of new clients that match MBM’s broader sales strategy (market segmentation/ vertical alignment)
  • Develops proposals that are fiscally sound, reflects an appropriate investment in the client, and demonstrates the overall capabilities of Gallagher
  • Consults with the relevant business unit leaders to ensure proposals are in-line with the preferred approach to market, pricing approach (in support of margin achievement), capabilities and that timing is agreed for successful onboarding.
  • Consults with clients to ensure alignment with their global goals and objectives, that these are recorded and shared with the client service team
  • Orchestrates resources from across MBM & Gallagher to optimize delivery of client solutions, where appropriate
  • Introduces Gallagher’s full-service offering to broaden the scope and impact of client relationships
  • Stay’s abreast of industry, market and legislative trends that impact design, delivery and compliance
  • Participate in team sales meetings and leverage agreed Global Mobility Solutions/ MBM go to market messaging
  • Keeps pipeline and client contact information accurate/ up to date in Gallaghers sales system
  • Identifies and relays back trend based activity for leverage across the broader team
  • Manage and host regional events where applicable
  • Helps identify and deliver campaigns for the generation of improved pipeline
  • Support MBM Leadership Initiatives, as well as, domestic Corporate Initiatives
  • Other duties may be assigned

  • Attend available training classes
  • Participate in industry related educational and product information seminars and courses
  • Report to team leadership on key sales and client services activities
  • Assist education and support development of other staff members
About You

Required:

  • 2-3 years related experience required within a global mobility sales role OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years’ experience
  • Hunter mentality and with a desire to win
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Proven sales track record closing profitable business
  • Ability to generate, develop, and manage a productive short and long-term sales pipeline
  • Must be available to work “core” business hours, Monday through Friday plus any additional hours required to fulfill the essential duties of the role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
