Coweta Dental on Ruth Drive is seeking an experienced Hygiene Coordinator.
About the Role:
The Hygiene Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all hygiene-related protocols and standards are met within the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating hygiene appointments, verifying insurance details, and performing essential clerical duties to support the overall health and safety of our clients and staff. The Hygiene Coordinator will work closely with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations and maintain accurate records. By effectively managing schedules and documentation, this role directly contributes to the quality of care provided to our clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in scheduling appointments and performing clerical duties.
- Strong understanding of insurance verification processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare or hygiene-related environment.
- Familiarity with electronic dental record systems.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and manage appointments for hygiene services, ensuring optimal use of resources and time.
- Verify insurance information and assist clients with any inquiries related to their coverage for hygiene services.
- Perform general clerical duties, including maintaining accurate records, filing documents, and managing correspondence.
- Assist patients at check in/out counter
