Mechanical Project Manager
Job Description:
Mechanical Project Manager – Data Centre (Contract) We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a contract role on a major data centre project. The successful candidate will manage mechanical services delivery from construction through commissioning, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to data centre standards. Key Responsibilities Manage site delivery of mechanical systems (HVAC, chilled water, pipework, plant)Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, CSA, and commissioning teamsManage mechanical subcontractors, RAMS, programmes, and progress reportingOversee quality control, inspections, and snaggingSupport testing, commissioning, and handover activities Requirements Strong mechanical project management experience on data centre or mission-critical projectsProven site-based delivery experienceGood understanding of data centre cooling and resilience conceptsAbility to work in a fast-paced, live construction environment Contract Details Contract / freelance roleCompetitive daily or hourly rateImmediate or short-notice start preferred Darwin Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in EngineeringJob Type: Full-Time
