Lead Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices and the ability to design, implement, and manage robust security architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive security architecture aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Assess and manage security risks across the organization, recommending and implementing mitigating controls.
• Design and implement security solutions to protect systems, data, and applications.
• Stay current on emerging threats and technologies and integrate them into the security architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain clear, concise, and accurate security architecture documentation.

Qualifications:

• US Citizenship is required.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience building, maintaining, and managing security aspects of large-scale, distributed infrastructure and applications.
• Proven experience in an environment requiring compliance controls (NIST CSF/CMMC preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
• One or more of the following certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305).
• CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP certification.
• Experience with DevSecOps platforms and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong documentation skills to create and maintain clear and accurate security architecture documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience creating and presenting detailed security architecture diagrams.
