Job Summary

The ideal candidate will provide daily laboratory support by maintaining cleanliness and order, managing sample intake, preparing buffers and reagents, and assisting with genotyping production. The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and accurate documentation while collaborating with multiple supervisors and cross-functional teams.

Job Description

• Lead general housekeeping, orderliness, and cleanliness of the laboratory workspace.
• Receive, label, and track incoming samples.
• Maintain sufficient labware inventory, including receiving and organizing supplies.
• Prepare buffers and reagents as needed.
• Troubleshoot and operating equipment required for genotyping production.
• Review, archive, and maintain task-related documentation.
• Follow Employee Safety and Health (ESH) guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and workflow instructions.
• Work effectively with multiple supervisors and coordinate with manufacturing and research personnel.

Skills Required

• 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under more than one supervisor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and inventory management.
• Commitment to laboratory safety and adherence to established procedures.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree) required or on track for completion by start date.
• Degree in a scientific field preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
• Shift: 08:00 AM
• Willingness to adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary : $17.00 to $25.00 per hour based on qualifications.
