Warehouse Operations Operator 1
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process customer orders: scan bar codes, label boxes, pick products, prepare packages for shipment.
- Palletize shipments: scan, retrieve, place completed orders on pallets, and re-palletize products as required.
- May operate dock manifest station, run shrink wrappers, and handle ground/manual manifest duties.
- Transport pallets using material handling equipment as needed.
- Complete all assigned duties promptly, according to departmental standards and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, compliant work area per Quality System Regulations (QSR).
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
- Consistently adhere to safety procedures and help maintain safe working conditions.
- Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
Experience Required
- Work experience in distribution, warehouse, or related environment preferred.
- Experience with material handling equipment, RF scanners, or electric pallet jacks is beneficial.
Skills & Certifications
- Ability to communicate business ideas and instructions effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Skilled with material handling equipment and RF scanners.
- Metrics-driven performance mindset.
- Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- General computer proficiency.
- Familiarity with QSR, distribution, and warehouse best practices.
- Good documentation habits.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Satisfactory performance on each essential duty.
- Good basic math skills.
- Physical capacity for walking, standing, lifting, stooping, climbing, crouching, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand motions.
- Reasoning ability to interpret written/oral instructions and solve practical problems.
