International Tax Senior or Manager (Atlanta, GA or Fully Remote)
Our client is a well-recognised public accounting who are ranked as one of the top 200 firms in the USA. This organisation has been around for 60 years, annual revenues of approximately $40m, 30 partners and just under 200 staff based out of Atlanta, GA. With a strong focus on tax, this firm makes 40% of their annual revenue from tax related practices.
Due to continued growth, this firm seeks to hire an international tax senior or manager who will be given the option to work remotely or from the firm Atlanta, GA office. This opportunity comes with lots of growth opportunities for the right professional.
This role will consist of compliance and consulting projects. You will perform international tax-related tasks involving tax compliance to a variety of clients including partnerships, corporations, and high-net worth individuals. You will also collaborate with the tax team and outside service providers to research and analyze US international tax reporting implications on business transactions and tax planning projects. In addition, you will support international team on audits, tax notices and inquiries.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience, including public accounting and/or industry experience with International Tax/Foreign reporting, US GAAP, ASC 740, and tax accounting.
You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred). In addition, you will hold a CPA license and possibly a Masters in Taxation.
You will have a solid understanding of US international tax concepts, familiarity with Tax Research (Checkpoint, BNA, Orbitax, etc.) and familiarity with Tax Preparation Software
