Experienced Property Manager

The Klotz Group of Companies is excited to announce a career opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is designed for individuals who are passionate about property management and are looking to take their career to the next level in a hands-on leadership role. Please note, this is not a remote job and will require on-site presence to efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of our properties.
As an Experienced Property Manager, you'll play an essential role in shaping the environment and experience of our residential and commercial properties. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and uses a proactive approach to overcome challenges and lead a team to success. Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring excellent service and maintenance.
- Manage all aspects of leasing and marketing of the property.
- Perform routine inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure high standards of property presentation and safety.
- Implement effective strategies that drive occupancy rates and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, financial reports, and rental collections.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to manage service delivery and capital improvement projects.
- Handle tenant relations and address concerns, fostering a friendly and professional relationship with both residential and commercial tenants.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations.
- Lead and inspire the property management team, providing training and development to enhance their skills and career progression.
- Implement risk management and emergency procedures to protect assets and ensure the safety of all tenants and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in property management, with a proven track record of success in managing multifamily or commercial properties.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of property management laws, regulations, and best practices, including fair housing laws.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and capability in managing budgets, forecasts, and expense controls.
- Highly skilled in conflict resolution and tenant relations to maintain a harmonious living and working environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using property management software as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising quality or service.
